The purpose of this book is to gather together the various accounts of cave exploration in Myanmar at the time of publication. Because of the country's unstable political past, speleological expeditions have been few and far between, in each case being limited to specific areas of the country. It was hoped that by publishing these recent accounts future cavers would have a base upon which to build a more comprehensive speleological map of the country. 139 pages with a list of 282 caves, a bibliography and several maps.
